Today, Tsingshan has released its high-carbon ferrochrome (HC FeCr) purchasing price for August 2025. The company has set the price at 7,995 CNY/ton (50% Cr basis), on a cash basis, inclusive of tax and freight. This represents a decrease of 100 CNY/ton compared to July’s purchase price.
For ferrochrome delivered to Tianjin port, the price is announced as 7,845 CNY/ton (50% basis), which is 150 CNY/ton lower due to reduced delivery charges to that location.
The pricing move reflects current market dynamics, with softened demand and cost factors contributing to the slight reduction. Market players will be watching closely to see if this trend continues into the remainder of Q3.
